Clarity Strengthens
In spite of the economic downturn, Clarity in Sound Light and Vision Limited recently strengthened its sales team, announcing the appointment of David Ashton in the role of Business Development – Education.
 David Ashton, formerly with Digital Media Systems and Hays Document Technologies joined the sales team at Clarity on 1st June 2009 to focus on business development and sales support to primary schools, nationwide.
David commented ‘I am pleased to have joined the team at Clarity and I am looking forward to visiting as many primary schools as I can in the coming months ahead once my induction and training at Clarity is complete. Fortunately my product knowledge is quite broad having spent a number of years working in audio-visual installation, which means I hope to be up and running quite quickly’.
Stuart Graham, Managing Director for Clarity commented on David’s appointment, ‘I am delighted David joined Clarity, as I have known him for some time and know that he offers an excellent level of product knowledge and technical know how, which teachers and schools can call upon to their benefit’.
‘A greater percentage of Clarity’s business in education has recently been larger projects into secondary schools, sixth form colleges, colleges and universities. With the shift towards larger scale projects anticipated to continue we need to ensure that the work we do with primary schools continues too, as this has been a vital element of the success of our business to date. We hope that David will help us achieve this’.
‘We anticipate David will soon be visiting primary schools two-three days per week to discuss their requirements for sound, lighting, audio-visual and staging systems and to keep them informed of the latest technologies available to assist with teaching,’ added Stuart Graham.
